Maria Rontogianni joins Alpha Bank and is appointed Executive General Manager, effective as of April 1, 2020. Ms. Rontogianni will become Head of Group Internal Audit at Alpha Bank on May 1, 2020, following the completion of the disclosures and procedures required by law.

Short CV of Maria Rontogianni She was born in 1973. She studied Public Accounting and Marketing at Fordham University, New York. She has a 25-year experience in the broader scope of internal audit and joins the Bank after being Senior Vice President, Group Audit and Risk Management at Deutsche Telekom. From 2009 and until her move to Bonn, she was Group Chief Internal Auditor at the Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE). She was also Director of Internal Audit at Wind Telecommunications and Lamda Development, while earlier in her career she worked for a number of years at Arthur Andersen in Athens as well as at JP Morgan and the National Futures Association in New York.
