A significant milestone for Nautilus Management S.A., founded by brothers George and Dimitris Vernicos, is the addition of the first tanker to its managed fleet.
On 17 October 2026, the company took over the management of the M/T Akti A, a 2022-built MR1 product tanker, in La Goulette, Tunisia. The vessel also successfully completed a SIRE 2 inspection, which, according to the company, confirms its focus on safety, operational efficiency and high standards in tanker management.
The move forms part of the company’s efforts to expand its presence in the tanker sector.
