Key players from the Greek and international shipping community will come together for the WISTA MED 2019 Conference at the Costa Navarino Hotel in Pylos, from 23-25 May.
The theme of the conference -“Turbulence or fair winds in the Med”- will be discussed and analyzed by four panels of industry experts. Delegates will be welcomed by Angie Hartmann, on behalf of the Board of WISTA Hellas.
Held every two years, the WISTA MED Conference is a valuable platform that promotes networking and collaboration between the maritime professionals in the Mediterranean basin. The region has recently come to the forefront as the global energy map is reshaped, rapidly transforming countries in the Eastern Mediterranean into world class natural gas producers. In parallel, the diversity of the region puts it among the most popular and profitable cruising destinations. But the increase in maritime traffic is presenting ports with many and varied challenges. All these issues we will be discussed during the conference.
A range of other social activities have also been arranged under the auspices of the gathering, giving the delegates and speakers the chance to network and relax in a less formal setting.
