MetLife, Inc. (NYSE: MET) announced that it has been named to Fortune magazine’s 2020 list of the “World’s Most Admired Companies.”
Seven life and health insurers were included on the annual snapshot of the best-regarded companies across 52 industries.
To compile the list, Fortune partners with Korn Ferry to survey industry executives, directors and analysts across nine dimensions: innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment, quality of products and services, and global competitiveness.
“MetLife has made great strides as a purpose-driven company that creates value for all of its stakeholders,” said MetLife President and CEO Michel Khalaf.
